Long Standing Issue of Kashmir - Will Obama Respond to the call

US President Barack Obama should play a role in bringing Pakistan and India closer to help them resolve the Kashmir dispute and also avoid a nuclear war in the region, a senior Kashmiri political leader said.

"It's time Obama declares a clear policy to help resolve the Kashmir dispute to end conflict between Pakistan and India because war against terrorism cannot be won without resolving this issue," said Sardar Atiq Ahmad Khan, former prime minister, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and President of the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference.

"It is time that the world community, especially the US, play as mediator and facilitator to de-escalate the tension between the two countries because bilateral talks between India and Pakistan on Kashmir dispute have miserably failed during the last 62 years,

Both Pakistan and India had stopped talks on the Kashmir issue since the Mumbai terrorist attacks last year. "

"The international community cannot leave Kashmir issue hanging in the air unresolved because it can trigger nuclear war between the neighbouring countries," Pakistan and India have already fought three wars on the issue.

"The unresolved Kashmir dispute not only poses a serious threat to the region but also to world peace,"

Proude to be a Pakistani

We are moving on. Fighting a war against all kind of enemies, On one border we are having arch rival who had never accepted our existence, on other border a so called WAR. Within our borders we are fighting the elements who had their own objectives. Our leaders are fighting for Power. Our Army is fighting on all fronts. Despite all this, we still exist like a thorn in the heart of our enemies, This is Pakistan. Since 1947 we are walking in a tunnel - but still we can say RAY of LIGHT at the very end, giving us hope to live, hope to fight, will to survive. We will exist INSHA ALLAH. Lets be fair enough to Pakistan

Why it is Only Pakistan

Pakistan, the land of peace loving brave people, but we are being portrayed as the terrorist. Can we call a nation as terrorist just because of few people who are either mentally ill or they assume themselves to be the so called reformers with their own objectives. 

If this is the definition is true then why it is only Pakistan. 

Dont we have same situation because of (IRA - Ireland), Spainish rebels. 

Why it is only Pakistan. 

Can I get some answer. Especially from the so called observers. Who are questioning our ability to handle this on our own.
